| Our association with Chianina cattle began in March, 1985 when we selected an eight-month old fullblood Chianina bull (Sunnyhill's Image) as our future herd sire. Later that summer, this same bull was selected as the grand champion bull at the Missouri State Fair, being the first of many such champions for us. We later purchased the 1990 National Champion Fullblood bull (BC Tomorrow 56Z shown at right). |

We soon realized the benefits of Chiangus cattle and began to concentrate on a totally Chiangus program. We found a new herdsire in WOCR Missouri Pride (pictured at the left), also a Missouri State Fair Grand Champion bull for us in 1995. His presence at ECCC will be felt a long time with the great daughters he left us. |
| A son of Missouri Pride, ECCC Coaltrain, followed in his father's footsteps by also being a Missouri State Fair champion bull and producing some great calves. A Missouri Pride grandson, ECCC Constructor, has given us many great females in the herd. JSC Stetson is now our main herd sire. |

We also have a lot of pride in our tremendous females. Our most famous cow is ECCC Black Rose, dam of ECCC Coaltrain, ECCC Black Rosette, ECCC Rosemary, and ECCC Black Rose 3M. This cow family has our females looking "damn good" as one visitor put it. |
